The Gregson Community and Arts Centre

Bulb Creative Studio proudly created a new brand identity and logo for the iconic Gregson Community and Arts Centre in Lancaster.

Working closely with the team and the diverse community that underpin it, we created a contemporary and inclusive brand and logo identity that acknowledged and celebrated the Gregson’s 40+ years of history and its people, whilst illuminating a new horizon for its future as a leading community and arts space in Lancaster.

Since establishing a brand, logo and brand guideline for the Gregson, Bulb Creative Studio has continued to work alongside the charity on multiple design and illustration projects. This has involved creating internal and external signage and way-finding artwork and providing web, digital and print graphic design and marketing support.

Bulb Creative Studio collaborated with Surf Up and Plain Creative (website design agencies based in Kendal, Cumbria) on some of these projects.

About the Client

The Gregson Community & Arts Centre is a ‘community led and community owned’ historic space located in the cultural city of Lancaster. The Gregson is home to a number of diverse community groups and hosts a range of year round cultural and community events and celebrations. At its heart is Lancaster’s only community run bar and cafe.
